Kundalini Jagran Ashram & Vedic Wellness Centre
A permanent, non-commercial place where anyone can learn to sit, breathe and steady the mind — and where the same premises teach skills that pay the rent. The Society is working to establish it as a public-welfare institution.
Why a permanent home
Practice needs a place
Borrowed halls limit what can be taught. A daily practice, a longer retreat and a livelihood course all need a room that is there tomorrow morning.
Continuity
Regular morning and evening sessions instead of occasional camps, so people can build a habit rather than attend an event.
Depth
Longer formats — teacher training, retreats, Vedic study — that a single-day booking cannot hold.
Reach
A place the elderly, women and students from nearby settlements can walk into without a fee or an introduction.
The plan
What the centre will hold
Two functions side by side, because inner steadiness and earning capacity are not separate problems for the people we serve.
Wellness and practice
For the mind and body
- Meditation and Kundalini Jagran hall
- Yoga and pranayama space with instructor support
- Counselling and stress-management rooms
- Vedic study and library space
- Naturopathy and wellness consultation area
Skills and community
For a livelihood
- Digital and computer training laboratory
- Classrooms for English, communication and life skills
- Vocational rooms for tailoring and allied trades
- Community hall for camps, health drives and awareness events
- Simple residential rooms for participants and trainers
Getting it built
The support we are seeking
The Society is prepared to run the centre from day one. What it needs is the ground to stand on and the shell to work in.
First
Land
Allotment of institutional land, or a long-lease or donated site, for a public-welfare wellness and training centre.
Second
Construction
CSR or philanthropic support for the halls, classrooms, laboratory and basic residential block, built in phases.
Third
Equipment and operations
Computers, yoga and training equipment, and running support for trainers during the first years.
How it will run
Non-commercial by design
The centre is not a wellness business and will not be operated as one.
No margin
Sessions free or at cost. No package pricing, no membership sales.
Society owned
Held and operated by the registered Society, with audited accounts and committee oversight.
Open access
Voluntary participation, open to every faith and background, with no conversion or ritual obligation. See our principles and limits.
Recorded
Registration, attendance and activity records maintained for every programme held on the premises.
