What we do
Three lines of work, one idea
A person who is calm inside and capable outside can hold a job, raise a family and help a neighbourhood. Everything we run serves one of those two halves — or both.
Yoga and wellness
Yoga, meditation, pranayama, stress management and emotional well-being, offered freely through camps and regular sessions. See Yoga & AYUSH programmes and Kundalini practice.
Community welfare
Health and immunisation camps, blood donation drives, sanitation and environment work, road-safety awareness and support for senior citizens. See continuing programmes.
The origin
It began with training that was reaching nobody who needed it most.
Running a professional training academy, Alka Gupta kept meeting people who needed spoken English, confidence and life skills far more than her fee-paying students did — and could not reach them.
In 2007 she registered Parlance Endowment Society to deliver the same curriculum on a no-profit basis. The work went to government school children, tribal students, unemployed women and school teachers, and grew from there into health, wellness and community programmes.
